Living as your best self requires that you live life to the fullest, follow your passions, and achieve your dreams. Have you noticed the weekly affirmations we feature in the blog and newsletter each week? These short, direct statements are words you can use to improve your frame of mind, and live life to the fullest. 

Weekly affirmations are designed to help you clarify your desires and build a great mindset. Always start the affirmations with “I am” so that they become a fact in your life and something that your actions will follow. The statements build up week by week as a part of who you are- taking up the space that might otherwise be a crowd of negative thoughts and experiences.

To make your personalized affirmations:

  1. Make a list of all of the things you wish were different in your life. Write out every little complaint you have, no matter how small.
  2. Flip each negative into its positive opposite.
  3. Rewrite these new positives using “I am” at the beginning.
  4. Read them to yourself daily.

 

 

Don’t be afraid to read your affirmations out loud and gesture, no matter how ridiculous it sounds or feels. The more muscles you use to state them, the more muscles the brain will remember stating them! You can also keep the list in your pocket as a reminder and a pick-me-up throughout the day, as you build your dreams into a reality.
